Apple's latest operating system update included one big change for Apple Intelligence: it's on by default now.
Users of compatible iPhone, iPad and Mac devices previously had to opt-in to use Apple Intelligence features. In the 18.3 update, Apple Intelligence will now be enabled automatically for new users and those upgrading who may not have opted in previously.
The first batch of Apple Intelligence features, which introduced Apple-built generative models and other enhancements to existing software, launched in October, with more features rolling out in December for devices.
Here's how to opt out of Apple Intelligence:Turning off Apple Intelligence
To turn off Apple Intelligence, navigate to "Settings" on the device. In "Settings," tap on "Apple Intelligence & Siri" and then toggle off the button next to "Apple Intelligence."
